Winterset Banknote

The Madison County Historical Society has deep roots, and branches out in many ways to educate people about our county’s heritage. We bring history to school groups, local residents, senior citizens, tour groups and visitors from many states and foreign countries each year through visits to the museum.

WHY BECOME A MEMBER?

What does membership in the Madison County Historical Society mean? One of the many benefits is to financially support our museum. Membership dues are used to help with the upkeep and repairs to our museum facility. Another benefit of membership is unlimited visits to the museum during the fiscal year (January through December). Lifetime membership has the benefits above plus a Lifetime Membership Certificate suitable for framing. Your name will be added to our lifetime membership display located in our entry hallway.

If you have someone on your gift list who “has it all”, consider the gift of membership to the Madison County Historical Society! Gift membership is available and will last a lifetime.

All memberships receive a card which should be shown each time you visit the museum. Annual membership dues are $10.00 and run from January through December. Lifetime membership is available at $150.00 per person.
