The Madison County Historical Society has established the Irvin & Lucile Martens Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $750 to be awarded to a graduating high school senior or college student enrolled as a full time student in classes beginning the fall of 2012.
Eligible students must be residents of Madison County Iowa pursuing a major in history or a related field of study. It is hoped this scholarship will encourage students to become interested in academic studies related to the management and operation of museums.
